Mission Statement
TEXAS YES (SA YES) was established in 1998 to create a better future for youth in San Antonio, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, and Corpus Christi areas in Texas. Over the years, we have supported our communities through school supply distribution, STEAM grants for schools and non-profits, and greater access to year-round literacy with our Little Locker Project.
About
Each year TEXAS YES selects numerous, elementary schools across Texas and supplies every student in those schools with a free school supply kit. Since its inception, TEXAS YES has provided over 578,000 deserving students with free school supplies. In August 2023, we will distribute 85,000 free school supplies to Title 1 students, located in our partnered districts, across Texas. TEXAS YES staff and volunteers visit each elementary school and personally hands every child and individual school supply kits.
