The Ultimate Zoo Experience: Jungle Bells is a magical FREE family-friendly event that brings communities together to create unforgettable memories through music, food, entertainment, and connection to educational resources at the Dallas Zoo. Jungle Bells is filled with lots of community organizations that families can visit during the event to receive resources and learn more about the services that each organization provides.

Majority of the families we serve are living through economic hardships, at or below the poverty lines, so this is an opportunity for families to attend the Zoo’s annual Zoo Lights Show at no cost in efforts to remove barriers allowing families to create lasting memories and not focus on the day-to-day challenges. The 2023 Jungle Bells event hosted over 3,000 attendees representing various zip codes across Dallas County and many others with over 35 community vendors represented at the event.

Volunteers will be onsite to assist community partners and to support the attendee experience by helping families with various holiday crafts, giveaways, and wayfinding.
