As part of our Thriving Neighborhoods initiative in the month of April, United Way Metropolitan Dallas has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to further our impact in the North Texas community. Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used name brand items like furniture, appliances, flooring, cabinetry, tiles, home renovation items, building materials and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price. 100% of the profits from our ReStores go to support our mission of building homes, communities, and hope.

Volunteers will assist ReStore staff in all aspects of retail operations, including pricing items, setting up/moving displays, assembling furniture, assisting customers, cleaning/straightening shelves and display racks, sorting donations, and assisting with inventory control.
