Join us on March 7 for United Way Reading Day presented by Atmos Energy, as we inspire thousands of North Texas children with a love of reading! Education creates a foundation for life, empowering kids from grade school to college, to their career and beyond. And reading is the core of most learning. Together, we can spark an interest in reading and build up the skills that students need to succeed—like reading at grade level.
This year’s Reading Day is part of our Centennial Volunteer Series presented by Texas Instruments. This community-wide celebration marks our first century of impact and includes exciting new opportunities to advance our Aspire United 2030 goals, which include improving early literacy.
During this exciting day, volunteers will promote literacy and celebrate the joy of reading as they read to thousands of elementary students across North Texas classrooms and participate in our online book drives to help build each child’s personal library.
Don’t wait! Volunteer spots are limited, so sign up today. Registration closes on Sunday, March 2 at 11:30 PM.
You will select your volunteer location during registration. Books will be provided on site.
