United Way Meal Pack Party

United Way Meal Pack Parties are the most fun you can have while making a difference. At this memorable and impactful volunteer event, we put on fashionable hairnets, crank up the music and turn on the disco ball. Then, we work together in a high-energy assembly line to pack 30,000 delicious, nutritious meals that will be donated to local families at our Jungle Bells event.

Volunteers at this year’s Meal Pack Party will assemble meal packs by working at one of our assembly line station: funnels (where ingredients are poured into a funnel to fill a bag), scales (where bags are weighed for accuracy), heat sealers (where bags are sealed) or boxes (where the bags are put into cases). Each kit includes cooking instructions presented visually and in English and Spanish.
